In “Nocturne for Pollinators,” I explore the quiet worlds of night — where moths and other night time creatures sustain the rhythm of renewal. My eco-printed fabric, together with photos of moths in greys and blue evoke twilight fields and moonlit air. This piece is a visual lullaby for the overlooked — the pollinators who labor unseen, in darkness, maintaining the cycle of life. “Nocturne for Pollinators” invites reflection on the beauty of hidden work, the persistence of life after light fades, and the delicate balance we all share. This is a mixed media wall art piece.
The result is a richly textured piece that bridges natural process and digital expression.
I mount the work on felt and foam core, wrapping the fabric around the edges. The piece is held in place with hand-worked lace stitching on the reverse. This work is unframed to allow you to choose your own presentation style. Or, it may be displayed as is.
