“Wild Blue Yonder” is an abstract collage measuring 30cm x 46cm. It is mounted on mat board and unframed. This collage is one of 7, that I created during a visit to Thailand, in 2015. Made in Krabi, it’s theme is the Lotus flower.

The techniques I used are airbrush, coloured pencil and lead pencil. The listed price is for unframed work; please contact me for framing options and prices.

Description

During recent visits to Hawai’i, Thailand and more recently India, I worked on a series of collages, based on the Lotus flower. Before embarking on my trips, I made a small portfolio which fit into the bottom of my suitcase and then packed paper, painted Lotuses, coloured pencils, scissors and glue.

Abstract collage integrating airbrush, pencil and coloured pencil drawing techniques

In all of my collages, I cut out some of my previously airbrushed Lotuses. I also add pencil and coloured pencil drawing. Each collage is an original piece of art.

Before embarking on my trips, I pack a small portfolio, which fits into the bottom of my suitcase. In it, I place paper, previously painted Lotuses, coloured pencils, scissors and glue.

The listed price is for unframed work. If interested in having this unique art piece being framed, please contact me for framing options and prices.

I welcome any questions related to this item, from serious buyers.

Lotuses symbolize an awakening, spiritual growth, and enlightenment. During recent visits to Hawai’i, Thailand and more recently India, I worked on a series of Lotus collages. While in Hawai’i, I finished 4 collages and 7 during a later trip to Thailand (2015). Prior to my trips, I painted more than 100 Lotuses.
