Already November! We just turned our clocks back 1 hour for daylight savings time, so it means everyone gets an extra hour of sleep and it gets darker one hour earlier. In the springtime, the reverse happens, and the clocks are turned forward by 1 hour. Personally, I find it is taking my body more time to adjust to the change, as I get older.

I have continued to work on painting my scarves, averaging 2 per week.
Lately I’ve decided to use my paintings as a guide to making paintings on scarves, so to speak.

Recently, I started reading “The Mountain Shadow”, by the author of Shantaram, Gregory David Roberts. So far, I’m finding there’s too much fighting and details about each fight. But there is some humour in the conversations between the various characters. To me, there doesn’t seem to be much meat to the story, but I’ll give it a chance. It’s a very thick book, that was much anticipated. I enjoyed reading Robert’s previous novel, although it could easily have been two separate books. It would be very interesting to see the movie Shantaram, if the project ever gets off the ground!
